International Cricket Stadium Galle
An obvious pride of Sri Lanka is the National Cricket team which
has been presenting many of the best players in the world since
decades and obviously also the visiting teams enjoy coming to Galle
as often as possible die to the stunning location of the newly refurbished
International Stadium.
Built in 1876 the International Galle Cricket Stadium had been
often praised as one of the most exciting venues due it's superb
location between the Indian Ocean and the World Heritage Galle Fort.
Also Sri Lankan top photographer Wasantha Korala had come to Galle
for documenting the first test match against England at the reopening
of the International Galle Cricket Stadium.
