Excursion to Galle

All Unawatuna visitors enjoy having an interesting excursion to beautiful Galle with the famous World Heritage Galle Fort and some amazing spots to visit.

One of them is certainly the lovely Shoba Fashion store with assorted crafts and beautiful handmade products which one could call real quality souvenirs.

The store is located right inside the Galle Fort like a hassle free oasis where visitors can select their items in peace.

After some pleasant walk around the Galle Fort the wonderful Rampart Hotel is the right place for a fine lunch with it`s fine kitchen, a superb view and a cooling breeze.

The service is very good and visitors should only watch out for overpriced offers at the store below the restaurant where sleazy marketers try to sell Tsunami photos at bizarre rates.

On the way back to Unawatuna a visit to the beautiful Temple is highly recommended.

The view over Galle Bay and it`s marvelous Japanese architecture are utterly impressive making it the right spot to complete a relaxed excursion day.
